Out of School Hours Care

The Out of School Hours Care program aims to provide affordable, quality child care and recreation to children in a safe, relaxed and supervised environment. Individual needs of children and families, their cultural and social beliefs and expectations are recognised by the program.

The program is approved for 30 places for Before Care and 45 places for After Care. It is therefore very important to make all permanent bookings in advance. Casual users should make bookings no less than 24 hours prior to the commencement of that session. Emergency bookings will be accepted anytime

Before School Care Program
Breakfast is served between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 a.m. to children at the program. The menu consists of cereals, toast and drinks.
A variety of activities is provided for the children.

After School Care Program
Afternoon tea is provided consisting of varied and nutritious food. The program offers planned activities including arts/crafts, cooking, indoor and outdoor games. Access to computers, TV and videos are also provided.

The Program Co-ordinator will implement an interesting and varied program for both sessions which responds to the diversity of the children’s needs. Every effort is made to encourage children’s input into the program planning with both structure and flexibility of importance.

If children have food allergies, please advise the Program Co-ordinator.

HOURS OF CARE
Before school 7.00 a.m. to 8.45 a.m.
After school 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Pupil Free days 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
End of school term starts at 2.30 p.m.
