Prep enrolments are due at the end of May, however to assist with planning for the following year, we request that enrolment forms are lodged with the school prior to this date. Prep letters of offer are sent by mail in the first week of June. An enrolment ceiling has been implemented with approval from North Western Region of the Department of Education and Training (DET) to limit the number of students able to enrol. Click here for a link to the Enrolment Policy. For further information about enrolling your child at Rosanna Golf Links Primary School, please contact us to speak to one of our office staff who will be more than happy to assist with the enrolment process.
Alternatively, you can download a copy of the enrolment form and privacy notice from the Enrolment Form section below. Once completed, the form should be returned to the school.
Once the enrolment form has been received and processed you will be listed on our database to receive details of information and transition sessions that will assist in preparing your child for school. This transition process begins in Term 2 with informal invitations for you and your child to come into our school to enjoy ‘Library Time’ together. More formal prep transition sessions begin in Term 4.
Our school zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au. Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards. Golf Links has capacity to accept enrolments from families outside the designated zone.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department’s website under School zones.
Please download both the Privacy Notice and Enrolment Form and read through the Privacy Notice prior to completing the Enrolment Form. Complete the Enrolment Form and return it to our general office together with a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate and Immunisation Certificate. We are happy to photocopy your originals if necessary. The Enrolment Form can be returned without the accompanying documentation, however both the Birth Certificate and Immunisation Certificate are required to be provided prior to your child starting school.
Open Days offer a way for families of prospective students to tour the school’s grounds and facilities.
Open Days will be announced later in the year
Each session commences with a short presentation by the Principal and will be followed by a school tour. You are not required to book in for these sessions.
A special evening session where Dot Deviny will present “Preparing Your Child for School” is offered after the Open Days.
See our Enrolment page for further information or feel free to Contact Us.
If you are unable to make it to one of our Open Days, please contact our office staff to arrange a tour of the schools grounds and facilities. The school is surrounded by well-maintained, park-like grounds, shaded seating areas and modern play equipment. A football oval, soccer field, cricket nets, basketball, bat tennis and handball courts, outdoor chess boards, sand pits and a stationary train provide plenty of options for outdoor activities. As well as these extensive grounds, your children will enjoy the very latest facilities including:
computers in each classroom

a music room
In addition, the school is host to a Deaf Facility supporting children with hearing impairments.
Rosanna Golf Links also runs an exciting and challenging Out of School Hours Care program on the premises so your children can stay safely within our familiar surroundings both before and after school.
