Rosanna Golf Links Primary School is situated within the established residential area of Rosanna, within the metropolitan City of Banyule. The area is part of the Banyule Wildlife Corridor, and as a member, the school has a commitment to supporting environmental initiatives. The Sustainable Schools Program is one such initiative; RGLPS has achieved a five-star status and as such has made a commitment to the continuing planting of indigenous trees. The school is located on an expansive and attractive site adjacent to a unique housing estate and native parklands – the legacy of reclaimed golf links.

New play areas continue to be developed around the school. All these projects, major and minor, have been achieved through local efforts and contributions. Students have the benefit of extensive play areas including basketball, netball and bat-tennis courts; shaded play equipment; shaded seating areas; and two ovals all set in well-maintained park-like grounds.

Parents, teachers and students maintain the gardens and grounds and working bees are held at least every term to ensure the grounds are kept clean and tidy.

A ride-on mower, push mower and brush cutter are available for use.  Full training is provided to any volunteer wishing to register on the roster.  Contact us if you would like to be part of our mowing team.
