At Rosanna Golf Links Primary School, the teaching and learning of Mathematics is underpinned by our whole-school Explicit Instructional Model, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0. We believe that every child can achieve success in mathematics when teaching is clear, sequential, and grounded in evidence-based practices.Our model follows the "I Do, We Do, You Do" approach. Teachers begin by explicitly modelling new mathematical concepts, skills and strategies, followed by guided practice with students, and finally independent practice to ensure mastery.
