A Warm Welcome from our Principal
Welcome to Rosanna Golf Links Primary School. My name is Kirrily Lamers, and it is my great pleasure to introduce you to our vibrant and inclusive learning community. On behalf of our students, staff and families, thank you for taking the time to learn more about our school.
At Rosanna Golf Links Primary School, we are committed to delivering a high-quality education through an explicit instruction approach that ensures every student builds a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, and key curriculum areas. Our teaching is evidence-based, structured and intentional, designed to meet each learner at their point of need and guide them towards achieving their personal best.
Our school values of kindness, respect, responsibility, and persistence are woven into every aspect of school life. These values guide our interactions and decision-making and underpin the strong sense of belonging and safety that our students experience. We take great pride in fostering a culture where every individual is known, valued, and supported to thrive.
Inclusion is at the heart of who we are. We are home to a state-of-the-art Deaf Education Hub that supports up to 30 Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, integrated fully into our mainstream programs. Our inclusive model ensures that all learners, regardless of background or ability, can participate fully and successfully in all aspects of school life.
Our curriculum is aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and enriched through a wide variety of learning opportunities, including specialist programs in Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, AUSLAN and STEM. Students are further supported and challenged through targeted intervention and enrichment programs, and engaged through co-constructed learning goals, real-world experiences, and rich portfolio tasks.
Beyond the classroom, we offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities that help students explore their passions and connect with their peers and the wider community. These include school productions, band programs, arts and STEM festivals, sports events and community-led celebrations.
We believe that wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. Our positive and proactive approach to wellbeing includes School-Wide Positive Behaviour Supports (SWPBS), restorative practices, and access to professional wellbeing supports. Together, these help build a learning environment where every child feels safe, supported and confident.
We are proud to be part of the Banyule community and value the strong partnerships we have built with our families. I warmly invite you to visit Rosanna Golf Links Primary School to experience the welcoming and engaging environment our students enjoy each day.
Warm regards,
Kirrily Lamers, Principal
